My parents always stressed how much college is compared to high school so they did what they could to try to get me prepared for the challenges that i am going to face. It would not have hurt to have been a little more prepared.
-Come to class prepared -Do not fall behind -Do your homework as early as you can so it does not pile up
-Keep track of your work and due dates
-Don't be afraid to get help
-see an advisor
-go to the learning center
-don't be afraid to ask questions
-be prepared for the harder work
-make friends so you can always ask for assignments
-ask for help when you need it
-Stay focused on what's important
-Keep your priorities straight
-Always pay attention in class -Sell back books as soon as possible to get more money -get plenty of rest before finals -Try to eat breakfast before you start your day, you will feel much better and have more energy -Go off campus for your shenanigans, its not worth getting caught -Study days before finals, not just the night before -dont fold under pressure -try to keep a monthly budget -lean your best study strategies -If you want to go to parties, join a fraternity/sorority -have backup classes when registering -register as soon as possible, slots go by quickly
